About Zambi Wildlife Foundation
Zambi Wildlife Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and protecting animals in need. Its sanctuary, Zambi Wildlife Retreat, provides a lifelong home for retired circus and zoo animals. In 2024, Zambi partnered with Onyx Agency to produce a sizzle reel for Guardians of the Wild Horse, a documentary project centred on the conservation of the endangered Przewalski’s horses.
The brief
The sizzle reel needed to engage potential funders by conveying both the urgency of relocating the horses from Fernhill Estate and the pivotal role of Zambi Wildlife Foundation. The challenge was to create a short, cinematic piece that balanced conservation science with the emotional power of Zambi’s mission.

The solution
Onyx Agency developed a creative treatment and produced a cinematic reel that combined interviews, narrative voiceover, and footage from Fernhill Estate, Stardust Circus, and Zambi Wildlife Retreat. The storytelling arc blended history, expert insight, and investigative journalism, positioning Zambi Wildlife Foundation at the heart of the project while highlighting the stakes of the horses’ survival.
