About The Avalon AirShow 2025
Held once every two years, the Avalon Australian International Airshow is Australia's largest aviation, aerospace, and defence industry event, featuring over 900 exhibitors and drawing a global audience of professionals and enthusiasts. Onyx Agency was proudly engaged by two of our valued clients to design, create, manage, and build their exhibition stands for this iconic event.
The brief
Onyx Agency received two distinctly different exhibition requirements. One stand required a sophisticated outdoor hospitality environment with aviation display integration and weather-resilient build, while the other for Applied Virtual Simulation required a high-impact 18sqm indoor stand showcasing their Apache Helicopter and Hornet Jet simulators with strong visual presence, immersive engagement and premium brand presentation.
The solution
For Avalon, Onyx Agency successfully delivered the two contrasting exhibition builds, one sleek and technology-driven indoors, the other durable, highly visible and experience-led outdoors. The indoor AVS stand prioritised accessibility, audience flow, simulator engagement and polished brand presentation, while the outdoor build balanced premium aesthetics with structural integrity, guest experience, site logistics and compliance. Both were delivered seamlessly and on schedule, demonstrating Onyx’s expertise in complex exhibition environments.
