About The Avalon AirShow 2025
Held once every two years, the Avalon Australian International Airshow is Australia's largest aviation, aerospace, and defence industry event, featuring over 900 exhibitors and drawing a global audience of professionals and enthusiasts. Onyx Agency was proudly engaged by two of our valued clients to design, create, manage, and build their exhibition stands for this iconic event.
The brief
The two briefs for this event were starkly different. Jet Aviation required an outdoor marquee with a large helicopter display, complete with an elevated deck for event viewing and an indoor lounge space for informal meetings. The design created a premium yet relaxed environment where customers could enjoy refreshments while engaging with the brand. In contrast, Applied Virtual Simulation showcased its Apache Helicopter and Hornet Jet Simulators on an 18sqm indoor stand. With 3m-high walling, striking lighting, and bold branding, the stand commanded attention and drew significant interest from attendees.
The solution
Onyx Agency delivered two contrasting exhibition stands, one sleek and technology-focused indoors, the other durable and highly visible outdoors, each tailored to the unique needs of our clients. The indoor stand emphasised accessibility, flow, and stakeholder engagement through polished design and digital showcases, while the outdoor stand combined premium presentation with weather resilience and complex site logistics. Both were executed seamlessly and on schedule, showcasing Onyx Agency’s expertise, coordination, and strong venue partnerships.
